Our Pricing Model

At Bid or No Bid, we understand that every business is unique. That’s why our pricing is dynamically calculated based on the size of your RFx and your company profile. Whether you're a small team working on a short proposal or a large enterprise tackling extensive tenders, our flexible model ensures that you only pay for what you need.

In the Pricing and Cost Comparison Tool above, simply enter your Bid Decision Cost Inputs and we will estimate what the equivalent manual bid decision process would cost you.

Don't worry we haven't just plucked this out of thin air, we have made detailed calculations and have explained these further at the bottom of this page. A number of these costs may not be part of your consideration, but perhaps they need to be to understand the true cost of manual bid decisions.

This tool will also calculate the Bid or No Bid Fee you will expect to pay for the scenario that you input. This is a one-off payment of a variable priced fee based on your RFx size and a small allowance for the Company Profile size that you will need to upload and this scales between company sizes accordingly.

This allows you to clearly see the significant savings in your bid decision process, showing just how much money can be saved by choosing Bid or No Bid over the manual method. Whilst Bid or No Bid isn't just about significant money savings where processes that take weeks will now take minutes and there are so many features to benefit from, but the best value is where you can save up to 90% or more on your current costs.

Once you’ve entered your data and received the cost breakdown, you can send your results via email for future reference. When you're ready to proceed, simply complete the Order Now form, and our team will promptly contact you with your login details and instructions to get started.

Understanding Our Calculations

To provide you with the best estimate of manual bid decision costs and to demonstrate the value that Bid or No Bid provides you, we have made detailed calculations for the "Cost of Manual Decision" figure above which includes the following considerations:

RFx Reading Cost

  • This is calculated based on the RFx page count and the team’s average labour cost based on the widely accepted figures of an average 500 words per typed A4 page and an average reading speed of 238 WPM. Note that the labour cost is not just for external service providers; it also includes the internal cost of your own staff involved in bid decision activities. Your staff costs consist of direct expenses such as salaries and benefits, but also indirect costs like overheads (office space, technology, administration) and lost opportunity costs. Every hour spent on bid decisions is time that could be spent on core business activities. Bid or No Bid (BONB) helps reduce these costs by streamlining the bid process and freeing up valuable internal resources.
  • Why should you care about this? With Bid or No Bid, your staff will not be required to read the RFx as a comprehensive report is provided to you within minutes of uploading your RFx and Company Profile. Our Chatbot interface then allows you to ask questions and have a conversation with Bid or No Bid to find everything you need to know.

Team Onboarding Cost

  • This accounts for the team’s familiarity with the company and competitors to support an informed bid decision. Larger companies typically require longer onboarding periods, and external service providers often need full onboarding. For a micro business, onboarding may take as little as a day, while larger organisations can require two weeks or more. Bid or No Bid simplifies and accelerates this process, ensuring quicker, more efficient onboarding for all stakeholders.
  • Why should you care about this? With Bid or No Bid, your staff will not be required to onboard until you have made a decision to proceed with a bid and even then, your Company Profile will contain the majority of the relevant information about you, your offering, and much more so that they can then ask questions of the Chatbot to understand what you are offering.

Additional Costs

  • These encompass the non-labour expenses associated with bid decision activities. Travel expenses may arise from attending site visits, meetings, or stakeholder consultations. Meals and accommodation could be needed for team members traveling for bid-related purposes. Administrative costs include printing, document preparation, and coordination fees, such as booking meeting rooms or purchasing software tools for managing bids. These costs, often overlooked, can significantly increase the total bid decision expense and should be factored into your overall bid strategy.
  • Why should you care about this? Bid or No Bid can help reduce these costs by minimising manual processes, lowering travel needs, and reducing the administrative burden before a bid decision is made.
